Jersey City Imaging Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid for all five of our imaging services. We are a participating provider for traditional Medicare, Medicare Advantage plans, and New Jersey Medicaid.
Most Medicare-covered imaging studies, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-ray, and DEXA bone density screening, are processed through your Medicare plan. We bill Medicare directly. Standard Medicare cost-sharing rules apply, and our team confirms your specific costs before your appointment.
New Jersey Medicaid is accepted for all medically necessary diagnostic imaging. We bill Medicaid directly with no cost to most patients beyond any required co-pay set by your plan.
DEXA bone density screening is covered by Medicare for women over 65 and other eligible patients as outlined in standard Medicare guidelines. Our team confirms eligibility when you book.
Jersey City Imaging Center accepts workers compensation insurance and auto insurance for diagnostic imaging related to workplace injuries or motor vehicle accidents. If you have an open workers comp claim or an active auto insurance case (including no-fault or PIP coverage), we work directly with the carrier to verify coverage and bill appropriately.

HSA and FSA cards are accepted for all of our diagnostic imaging services. Diagnostic imaging is generally an HSA and FSA eligible expense, meaning you can pay for your scan with pre-tax dollars from your account. Bring your HSA or FSA card to your appointment, or use it at checkout if you booked online.
