Accessibility Statement

Jersey City Imaging Center is committed to making our website and our office accessible to every patient, including those with disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to diagnostic imaging services, and we work to remove barriers wherever we find them. This statement explains our commitment to accessibility, the standards we follow, and how to reach us if you encounter a barrier or need an accommodation.

Standards We Follow

Our website is designed to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the international standard for digital accessibility published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines cover a wide range of accessibility considerations, including support for screen readers, keyboard navigation, color contrast, text resizing, and clear page structure.

We use WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our baseline because it is the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Department of Justice, and most healthcare accessibility frameworks.

Accessibility Features on This Websit

We have built our website with the following accessibility features in mind:

We also avoid accessibility patterns that create barriers, including auto-playing audio, content that requires fine motor control, and forms that time out without warning.

Ongoing Work and Limitations

Accessibility is not a one-time project. It is an ongoing commitment. We regularly review our website for accessibility issues and make improvements as we identify them.

Despite our best efforts, some content on the website may not yet be fully accessible. This can happen with third-party tools we embed, with newly added content that has not yet been reviewed, or with technical limitations of certain features. If you encounter a barrier, we want to know about it. Reporting an issue helps us fix it for you and for future visitors.

Reporting Accessibility Issues or Requesting Accommodations
